McCormick Days Homecoming 2014

Join us October 23-24, 2014, for McCormick Days "Homecoming 2014" as we welcome all alumni/ae, students, friends.

McCormick Days: Embracing Faithful Love

The theme for McCormick Days this year is "Embracing Faithful Love," inspired by the teaching and ministry of the Rev. Dr. Elizabeth Caldwell.

We honor the classes of 1964, 1989, 1994, 1999, 2004, 2009, especially those alums in their Golden, Silver, or milestone anniversaries. We are also collecting autobiographical information from our classes of 1964 and 1989, as well as our milestone alums, for our souvenir book. Please take a few minutes to fill out this short survey so that we can all know what you're up to!

Read about our Distinguished Alums,
the Rev. Dr. Marshall E. Hatch and Ms. Carol Wehrheim!

This year, we've added "Homecoming 2014" to the title of McCormick Days. We want McCormick Days to be an all encompassing event where we learn together, as well as spend some time getting to catch-up with all alumni/ae from all past graduating classes, not just the ones being officially honored. We consider it an honor to see any one of alums walk through the doors of our building!

We will also be unveiling the new Elizabeth Caldwell Scholarship Fund, which will provide support for seminarians: women, and people of color, interested in educational ministry. Educational ministry is understood to range from church school programs to cross-cultural religious education to ecological awareness.

Register today! If you prefer to send your registration in by fax or mail, you'll find the link to download the paper registration below.

This year will feature a combined agenda with the McCormick Board of Trustees Meeting.

McCormick will also be hosting the very first Visionary Awards Reception and Benefit Dinner this year, honoring the work of the Rev. Dr. John Buchannan. This benefit dinner is not part of McCormick Days, but as alumni/ae, we invite you to stick around for the evening of October 24, 2014 after McCormick Days has ended and enjoy a wonderful evening at a discounted ticket price. If you would like more information on this dinner, please contact Sharia Battle

We begin gathering at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 23. Friday we get an early start at 7:30 a.m. and the Visionary Award dinner begins at 5:30 p.m. Register for the dinner today!
