Alumni/ae Council Accepting Nominations for Distinguished Alumnus/a Award 2010
Deadline: Friday, March 19, 2010
The award “is open to all, without reference to age, sex, ethnic background, denomination, form of ministry, length of service or public fame. . . . the emphasis will be on quality and significance of exceptional contribution to the ministry of Jesus Christ.”
McCormick Theological Seminary produces an extraordinary number of worthy candidates. But the Alumni/ae Council’s guidelines allow them to use only those materials which are sent to them about a particular candidate. Please be sure to read the criteria carefully and to submit a well-prepared and complete nomination.
Since 1977, when the Seminary awarded the first Distinguished Alumnus/a Award, we have honored persons engaged in a great variety of ministries. As we honor them, we recognize the gifts and contributions of all of our graduates.
