Chingboi Guite

Hi! My name is Chingboi Guite and I was an international student at McCormick. I am now a graduate of the Master of Theological Studies (MTS) program, originally from India (Northeast India).

One of the many things I like about McCormick is that it values differences. McCormick provides space for everyone in the community to learn from each other through differences and grow together in love and respect amidst differences. With the rich diversity we have in the McCormick community not just in race, nationality and culture, but also in denominational and doctrinal values, I have been challenged to stretch myself to learn to see God, myself and other people with a much broader mind and heart. I have found McCormick a great place to learn from others, and also allow others to learn from me even simply by my presence here.

I love simple things. When I am not engaged with classes or work, I love taking walks, hanging out with friends or watching movies.

I am more than happy to share with you my experiences and be helpful in any way I can, in your discernment process for your studies and in finding a community that is a good fit for you.
