The Eucharist, Communion, or Lord’s Supper is a fundamental Christian practice that undergirds Christian identity and nourishes faithful living. This workshop offered participants an opportunity to intentionally reflect upon their congregation’s practice of the Eucharist, mindful of the social, political, and economic issues present in their community and the city of Chicago. The workshop will begin on Friday evening with an address from Rev. Dr. Cláudio Carvalhaes re-imagining the ways Christ’s presence may be revealed in our fellowship at the Lord’s Table.
Guest Speakers were:
Cláudio Carvalhaes: Associate Professor of Worship Union Theological Seminary in New York City
