Endow a Scholarship

Endowing a scholarship is a wonderful way to express through the life of a student your particular passion in Christian ministry or your gratitude to a pastor or peer who has played an important role in your spiritual journey.

All of our merit-based scholarships are given to students who demonstrate a deeply felt call to ministry, a record of academic excellence or comparable work experience, and the potential for strong leadership.

With a gift of $250,000 or more, you may endow a scholarship for our students by contacting Sam Evans at sevans@go.mccormick.edu or call 773-947-6288.

Linda Morgan-Clement,
Class of 1984

“At McCormick I became deeply engaged in ministry with persons outside the traditional congregational life, such as refugee families, inner city schools, and the homebound elderly. These experiences opened many new possibilities in my understanding of self, God, and other.”

Terra Winston, Class of 2008

"I cannot imagine my ministry without McCormick’s travel seminar in Egypt. Not only have biblical texts come alive, but also my sense of God’s work in the larger world. Since then, I have visited the Middle East several times to support the wonderful ministries there and I’ve been able to share what I’ve learned with several congregations in the United States."
