The Lenten Lectures at McCormick Theological Seminary will be given by guest lecturers the Rev. Dr. Eliseo Perez-Alvarez and the Rev. Dr. Lee H. Butler, Jr.

Join us Monday, February 27, 2012, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the McGaw Common room to hear these inspiring lecturers. This event is free and open to the public and is sponsored by: The Center for African American Ministries and Black Studies and The Center for the Study of Latin@ Theology and Ministry at McCormick Theological Seminary.

The Rev. Dr. Perez-Alvarez will be speaking on "The Forced Fasting of the Hispanic Diaspora".

The Rev. Dr. Lee H. Butler, Jr. will speak on "Light from the Dark Continent: celebrating African American Christianity.
