Our keynote speaker will be Dr. Tara Hyun Kyung Chung, Associate Professor Ecumenical Studies at Union Theological Seminary. Her speech is entitled "Sex, Money, and Spirituality: Buddhist-Christian Ecofeminist view on Prostitution and Human Trafficking."

Opening worship will be on Thursday morning with the Rev. Dr. B. Herbert Martin, Sr. presiding. 

The Rev. Dr. Delois Brown-Daniels will be the speaker for the Alumni/ae Luncheon.

Speakers and presenters include alumns David Barnhart ('05), Leah Gipson ('18), Malene Minor-Johnson ('07), Shawna Bowman ('09), Je Myoung Lee ('16), Amy Pagliarella ('07), Julio Peña ('05), Eddie Rosa Fuentes ('16), and Pamela Floyd ('18). 

Also presenting are Rev. Dr. Anna Case-Winters, Rev. Dr. Robert Cathey, President David Crawford, Dr. Steed Davidson, Tul Elsiddig (Community Partners Liaison for the Adler School of Professional Psychology), and Elba Rodriquez (Senior, University of Southern Indiana).

McCormick has secured a reduced rate for a small group of rooms at the nearby LaQuinta Inn and Suites Chicago Lakeshore at 4900 S. Lake Shore Drive. The rate is $189 per night available for Tuesday, October 16 through Saturday, October 20. There will be a free shuttle during McCormick Days which is limited to travel between the LaQuinta Inn and McCormick's campus. 

 

Meet Our Distinguished Alumna!

The Rev. Dr. Delois Brown-Daniels will receive the 2018 McCormick’s Distinguished Alumni Award during McCormick Days, October 18 and 19. The award is presented annually to a graduate whose life, ministry, and values embody McCormick’s mission to prepare women and men for the work of God’s justice, reconciliation, and peace in the world.
