Hotel and Housing Information

Four Points by Sheraton Chicago, Downtown/Magnificent Mile 

Located at 630 N. Rush Street, Chicago, IL, about one-half mile south of Fourth Presbyterian Church, on the Magnificent Mile. We have secured a reduced rate for a small block of rooms. The rate is $149 for a “Comfy King” room featuring a “comfy sitting area, a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker, a 37" flat-screen TV with cable and HBO, complementary wireless Internet access and more” (amenities may vary slightly from this description). To guarantee these special rates, you must make your reservation before Friday, September 13.  Self-parking is $45 per night with unlimited in/out privileges; the rate is subject to change at the discretion of the hotel.  Learn more on their web site:

These rates are available for the following dates: Oct. 16th -18th (check out: Oct. 18, 2013). To receive this reduced rate, call the hotel directly for reservations: (312) 981-6600 or 1-800-368-7764.  Mention “McCormick Days” or “McCormick Theological Seminary” to receive this special rate.

Please note: The free transportation during McCormick Days is limited to the Four Points Sheraton, seminary housing, and a short list of hotels near the Sheraton. 

Campus Housing - 

McCormick Housing: 1400 E. 57th Street.  Limited accommodations are available for $60/night for a single, $90 per night for a double/couple. Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago: 1100 E. 55th Street. Limited and affordable accommodations will be available through LSTC.  More details are forthcoming and will be available on the McCormick Days website by mid-July.  

Parking for the McCormick/LSTC Campus:
There is limited guest parking available above ground outside of the main entrance to the McCormick building. Guests staying in McCormick or LSTC housing may arrange for special parking. Please contact Stephanie Moore in the Alumni/ae Office at 773-947-6282.
