McCormick Seminary and the Center for Innovative Ministry are pleased to announce “The McCormick Prize for Innovation.” Entrants will email a 250-word summary of (a) their context of ministry, (b) the innovation, and (c) the impact of the innovation on their ministry. “There are a number of ideas behind the contest,” offered Dr. Thomas Dickelman, a McCormick graduate (’83, ’91) and Director of the Center for Innovative Ministry. “Both McCormick and the Center for Innovative Ministry seek to inspire innovative thinking and action in ministry. The contest helps us do that, as well as recognize and reward those whose innovative thinking has genuinely impacted their ministry.”
“In addition,” Dickelman said, “at the end of the contest we will place all of McCormick Prize entries online, creating a database of successful ministry innovations as a resource for church leaders nationwide.”
Contest entries will be received beginning Thursday, February 2, 2017 and continues through Wednesday, April 5, 2017. Winners will be announced on Wednesday, April19, 2017. For more information, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
