Located at 201 E. Walton Place, in Chicago, the Residence Inn is one block east and one block north of Fourth Presbyterian Church and the Magnificent Mile. We have secured a reduced rate for a small block of rooms. The rate is $159 for a studio suite featuring a Queen bed and a sleeper sofa. The rooms come with kitchen/dining areas and are suitable for entertaining guiests. To guarantee these special rates, you must make yoru reservation before September 23. Red Roof Inn -

Located at 162 E. Ontario Street, in Chicago, the Red Roof Inn is two blocks south of Fourth Presbyterian Church and one block from the Magnificient Mile. We have secured a reduced rate for a small block of rooms. The rate is $129.99 for a standard room featuring a King bed or two double beds. To guarantee these special rates, you must make your reservation before September 14. Valet parking is $36 per night with unlimited in/out privileges. Learn more on their web site. Alternative Hotels -
We acknowledge that hotels in Chicago are expensive. We offer these options to our Gold and Silver classes as a way of helping you find some space and time to meet with your classmates outside of the regular McCormick Days schedule. Since the hotels are within walking distance of the Magnificent Mile and Fourth Presbyterian Church, It's a good location for visitors. However, if you would like suggestions of other hotels near Fourth or the Seminary, plase contact Stephanie Moore at 773-947-6282.
Please note: The free transportation during McCormick Days is limited to the Marriott Residence Inn, the Red Roof Inn, seminary housing and a short list of hotels near the Marriott.
Campus Housing -
McCormick Housing: 1400 E. 57th Street. Limited accommodations are avilable for $60/night for a single, $90 per night for a double/couple. Call Monica Williams at 773-947-6275 for reservations and indicate that you are coming for McCormick Days. More information can be found at McCormick Guest Housing.
Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago: 1100 E. 55th Street. Limited conference center accommodations are available for $55/night per person or $85/night for couples/families. Please call Kim Ferguson at 773-256-0700. Please indicate you are coming for McCormick Days. Check-in is between 3:00 and 10:00 p.m. If you arriving at a different time, please call LSTC at the number listed above and mnake arrangements. Special arrangements must be made witht he McCormick Alumni/ae office for guests arriving on Saturday or Sunday or after 10:00 p.m.
Parking for the McCormick/LSTC Campus:
There is limited guest parking available above ground outside of the main entrance to the McCormick building. Guests staying in McCormick or LSTC housing may arrange for special parking. Please contact Stephanie Moore in the Alumni/ae Office at 773-947-6282.
