The Office of Student Affairs offers workshops and seminars covering a variety of topics to benefit graduates in their preparation for the next step in ministry.
OSA Workshops
The 2011-2012 OSA workshop schedule is as follows:

Experiential Education Practica
The Office of Field Studies and Experiential Education also offers multiple practica each year for practical training in ministry skills. These practica meet requirements for the M.Div. degree. M.Div. students are required to complete three (3) practica in order to graduate in addition to the Boundaries Workshop. ("Tending the Spiritual Life of Religious Leaders" is a required practica for M.Div. students.) The Boundaries Workshop must be taken prior to beginning Min 404/405 and the Field Studies Placement.
All practica are scheduled from 9am to 5pm in the McCormick McGaw Common Room unless otherwise noted. The 2011-2012 practica schedule is as follows:

To register for a experiential education practica, you must register through the Office of Field Studies and Experiential Education using the practica application form. This form can be found on the office's website or obtained by contacting Rev. Nanette Banks (nbanks@mccormick.edu). (Note: Students interested in the Korean Boundaries workshop must register by contacting Alicia Rhine instead.) Payment of a practica fee is usually required with registration.
