Community Description:
The congregation is a non-denominational ecumenical, cross-cultural group of Christian believers. Progressive Community Church is located in the Grand Boulevard area with 6,000 people in the immediate area. 99% African-Americans, 1/2% Caucasian and 1/2% other.
Position Description:
We at Progressive have a full compliment of services. Open seven days a week. We offer a variety of worship services, soup kitchen, food pantry and an after-school tutorial program.

From Hyde Park via car and/or public transportation, take the I-94 west, exit on 51st Street, proceed east on 51st Street to Wabash. Go north or left to 48th Street, located on the northeast corner of 48th Street.
