This course surveys recent hermeneutical approaches in biblical studies that identify the importance of race and ethnicity for reading the Bible. Students will explore biblical texts through the lens of African American, Latino/a, Asian American, and postcolonial biblical interpretation. This course can be taken for both New Testament and Old Testament/Hebrew Bible credit.
