The call of God is the expression from which it comes. Old sailors hear the call of the seas, Hikers hear the call of the woods and true fishermen hear the call of the fish. Therefore, we can only record the "call" when the same nature is in us. I believe the call of God is the expression of God’s nature and not our nature. The church is a place where all of God's people are called to express the nature of God's call. I believe that the call of God (for all people) is to be "broken bread and poured out wine", so that we all give of ourselves so that we provide nourishment to those who are hungry for God inside and "outside" the church.
