Hopp-Peters, Elizabeth
Elizabeth Hopp-Peters is a Ph.D. candidate in biblical studies at the University of Chicago’s Divinity School. Her focus is the Hebrew Bible and she is currently writing a dissertation dealing with symbolic action in the Book of Jeremiah.
Elizabeth is an ordained Minister of Word and Sacrament in the Presbyterian Church U.S.A., having earned her M.Div. from McCormick in 1993. She lives in Evanston with her husband, Kurt Peters, and has two daughters, Emily and Anna, who are both attending school in California.
