Tracy, Douglas

Douglas J. Tracy is a Teaching Elder in the Presbyterian Church (USA) who currently serves the Synod of Lincoln Trails on a part-time basis as its Stated Clerk.  He has taught Polity and Worship for McCormick 8-10 times since 1997.
 
Prior to his retirement and relocation into the Synod, Dr. Tracy was Associate Professor of Christian Education at Ecumenical Theological Seminary in Detroit.  In addition to teaching courses in Christian education, he taught courses in Presbyterian Church History, Polity, and the Book of Confessions for Presbyterian Students at ETS.
 
During his ministry in the Presbyterian Church, he served congregations and midlevel councils as pastor, associate pastor, associate executive, and stated clerk.  His doctorates are from Columbia University in New York and Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, where he also did his M. Div.  He and his wife, Saundra, live in Bloomington, IN.
