Job Description

Counselors work under the supervison of the Director of Rehabilitative Services and are responsible for:

Providing individual counseling to beneficiaries admitted to the Adult Rehabilitation Center (ARC) for chemical dependency
Assisting beneficiaries reach rehabilitation goals
Maintaining accurate records and beneficiary files
Processing documents to beneficiaries, courts, probation, parole departments, and referral sources
Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Illinois Certified Addictions counselor preferred.
2 years experience working in drug and alcohol rehabilitation
Ability to work evening and weekend hours
Good verbal and written communication skills
