The ministerial intern will provide pastoral services and coverage while the Associate Pastor is on sabbatical.  We are a congregation of about 900 members.  Our membership is theologically, socially and racial diverse.  We are members of the PCUSA.

 

This position begins as soon after May 1, 2013 as student can arrive and concludes mid-August.

Stipend for the 12 weeks is $8600 with housing provided by church family if needed.

 

Primary responsibilities:

  • Assist with pastoral care ministries
  • Assist in worship
  • Preach at least twice and probably more
  • Conduct adult classes and bible studies
  • Participate as a full member of the staff team
