General Summary
This temporary part-time position for approximately 10-15 hours a week is intended for a graduate student in a ministry-related field or a recent seminary graduate. The person hired for this position will work directly with the DePaul Christian Ministries Chaplain in developing an outreach plan that will include engagement with specific Christian Student Religious Organizations (SROs) and independent non-denominational and evangelical students. The Coordinator will facilitate, plan, establish and lead a weekly Bible study, meet individually with students for support and spiritual formation, attend and participate in a variety of interfaith and ecumenical events within the Office of Religious Diversity, engage Evangelicals in on-going community service and reflection, and develop and help facilitate one Praise worship event in the spring quarter. The coordinator will be guided by DePaul’s mission and the Office of Religious Diversity goals and vision and will promote interfaith and ecumenical cooperation. This is a part-time temporary position ending prior to June 30, 2017.

Responsibilities & Duties
• Leading a weekly bible study.
• Meeting with students for spiritual development and formation.
• Assisting in planning and facilitation of spring Praise worship event.
• Engaging students in on-going service opportunity and reflection.
• Attending and participating and encouraging student participation in interfaith/ecumenical events.
• Attending regular staff meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Religious or Theological studies.
• Experience with Non-Denominational faith formation.

Preferred Requirements
• Master's degree or currently pursuing Master's degree in Theology or Ministry.

Financial responsibilities
• Assists in the planning and management of assigned budgets for the Outreach component of ministry.
