We're not all reading, writing, and study. We have fun, too!

In Memoriam: Rev. Dr. Shehadeh Shehadeh

Rev. Dr. Shehadeh Shehadeh, Episcopal priest at Saint Johns Church in Haifa, Israel, died in December 2010 of a fall and accident. He was an excellent man. In retirement he and his family lived in a small town called Kufr Yasif in the hills above Haifa.

He brought his whole family with him for his residency period at McCormick during his DMin program. They became warm friends of many of those in his cohort. He was Palestinian and worked mightily with Israeli colleagues at building efforts at peace-making. His surviving widow is Doris, and their two children are Deemah and Sameer. Deemah stayed in McCormick housing after the family returned to Haifa and graduated from Roosevelt College.
