In Memorium: Glenn Franklin Wyatt

We give thanks for the life and ministry of Glenn Franklin Wyatt (D.Min., 1981), who died 23 November 2012 at the age of 63. Frank is survived by his wife, the Rev. Elizabeth "Betty" Mitchell, and two adult children, Jeff and Tobey.

Frank was ordained to ministry on September 22, 1974 by Indian Nations Presbytery. He retired from a long and faithful career in the Presbyterian Church (USA) and the Church of Scotland. He served several churches as a pastor and the United States Army as a chaplain. In January, he completed an interim ministry assignment at the Calvary Presbyterian Church in Round Lake. Frank was currently a member of the Commission on Preparation for Ministry where his advisees came to appreciate his guidance toward ordination. He and Betty have been worshipping at the Wildwood Presbyterian Church.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2012, 11:00 a.m. at Wildwood Presbyterian Church, 18630 West Old Gages Lake Road, Grayslake, IL 60030.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made to Habitat for Humanity or Presbyterian Disaster Assistance. Undesignated gifts given at the service will be divided between the two. Grateful for the gifts of Frank Wyatt's life, we are thankful for his strong faith, his compassionate ministry, and his loyal service with the Presbyterian Church (USA). Please join me remembering his family and friends in our prayers.
