Obituary: Don Leonard (Class of 1940)

The Rev. Dr. Donald L. Leonard, of Dallas, Texas, died on February 7, 2010 at the age of 94. Dr. Leonard taught at Texas Christian University and Lewis and Clark College and served a number of churches in Connecticut, Washington, D.C. and Texas. He served the national office of the Presbyterian church for 29 years. He lost his wife of 60 years, Ruth Pendleton, to death in 2001.

He is survived by a son, a daughter, two grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Dr. Leonard's estate will provide a Donald L. Leonard lectureship at McCormick in the general area of Christian Education.
