Obituary: Howard Rice (Class of 1956)

The Rev. Howard Leland Rice, former moderator of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) General Assembly and Professor of Ministry at San Francisco Theological Seminary from1968 to 1997, died on August 8, 2010 in Claremont, CA at the age of 78, surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife, Nancy, and a daughter, Amanda. He was preceded in death by a second daughter, Wendy Rice Dreitcer.
A memorial service will take place August 20 at Claremont Presbyterian Church, 1111 Mountain Ave. Claremont, CA 91711.
