Rev. Dr. Torty Okwara Onoh Sends Greetings from Nigeria

Dear friends,
We have recently received greetings an an update from alum, the Rev. Dr. Torty Okwara Onoh (D.Min, '05): I currently serve as the Chaplain, Chapel of Redemption, University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus, Nigeria. Its a largely student populated congregation with some members of the University staff as members. It's been a wonderful time here, as we enjoyed an inspiring service of Nine Lessons and Carols last Sunday, where I preached on the topic "Joseph, Mary...Spoilt plans...Surrendered lives...and God's glory" from Matt. 1:18-25. It was well received by the congregation who prayed to continue to surrender to God's plan and will for their lives no matter how disorganizing and discomfitting it might be, as long as God is glorified.

We trust God for a great year ahead as we keep looking unto him the author and finisher of our faith... Hebrews 12:2. Our warm regards to you and the entire McCormick family."
