Hi! My name is Sheila A. Reed. I’m a third year student pursuing a Master of Divinity degree. My first year was challenging, exciting and rewarding. I’ve immensely enjoyed the diversity of the student body and instructors. Additionally, the classes have been revealing and edifying. I have enjoyed offering students support as they discern their journey into theological education is enjoyable and gratifying. I love sharing my story and faith walk to prospective students who are inquisitively ascertaining where God is leading them.
I’m a licensed Baptist minister who loves preaching and teaching. When I’m not in class, I’m very active in my local faith community serving in various roles. I love working with seniors and meeting new people. In my spare time, I am fond of running, laughing, eating, spending time with family and friends and worshiping with the people of God.
I am so excited about studying at McCormick. It’s a great place to prepare you for your next steps in ministry.
