Counseling Resources

Students seeking psychological counseling may speak with the Dean of Students Christine Vogel (cvogel@mccormick.edu [1]) for guidance and counselor referrals in a neighborhood near your place of residence.  The Office of Student Affairs will work with students to find the best approach for them.  Often, students will want to consult with their health insurance company to see what counselors are covered under their insurance and what payment policies are association with counseling care.

The Office of Student Affairs recommends these resources for counseling:

• Claret Center in Hyde Park:  offers pastoral counseling, psychotherapy and spiritual direction on a sliding scale -- http://www.claretcenter.org/ [2]
