A time-honored tool for spiritual formation is making space in our busy lives for personal devotions. Here are some reasources to enhance your devotional experience. We encourage you to set aside a quiet time and place to reflect on the messages, opening up time and space for God.
Each year the McCormick community offers a series of Advent and Lenten devotionals, one for each day of the liturgical season. Written by students, alunmi/ae, faculty, staff and trustees, we offer them as vehicles of prayer to guide your days through these seasons. We hope that your own thoughtful reflections on Scripture will prompt and deepen your own meditations and prayer.
Current devotions are posted for Advent 2010 [1] and Lent 2011 [2].
We welcome thoughtful contributions to the McCormick Advent and Lenten Devotionals from members and friends of the McCormick community. If you would like to be a contributor, please contact Dr. Christine Vogel, cvogel@mccormick.edu [3].
