This event is free and open to the public and is sponsored by: The Center for African American Ministries and Black Studies and The Center for the Study of Latin@ Theology and Ministry at McCormick Theological Seminary.

The Rev. Dr. Perez-Alvarez will be speaking on "The Forced Fasting of the Hispanic Diaspora".

The Rev. Dr. Lee H. Butler, Jr. will speak on "Light from the Dark Continent: celebrating African American Christianity.
