Alumnus Randal Jelks publishes "Benjamin Elijah Mays, Schoolmaster of the Movement"

Many congratulations to alumnus Randal Maurice Jelks (M.Div., 1983) on his forthcoming book, Benjamin Elijah Mays, Schoolmaster of the Movement: A Biography [1]! Randal was filmed on a C-Span [1] discussion around Mentors to Martin Luther King, Jr. and was interviewed by Inside Higher Ed [2] about the book. Dr. Jelks currently serves as the Associate Professor of American Studies and African American Studies at the University of Kansas. We give thanks for Randal's rich teaching ministry and wish him continued blessing, wisdom and courage as he lives into his call!
