Reverend Nannette E. Banks (M.Div. 2009) has engaged in ministry and learning across a myriad of contexts around the world including Turkey, Jerusalem, Cairo, London and Barranquilla. She will be traveling to Seoul and Busan South Korea as a participant for the Global Ecumenical Theological Institute. Nannette is an ordained Elder in the non-denominational church, International Council of Community Churches. She serves as Program Coordinator and planning team member for the New Clergy Program of the Chautauqua Institute’s Department of Religion in Chautauqua New York. Her voice has been heard in print, on the radio, on stages and behind pulpits throughout Chicago and the Midwest. Currently, Nannette is the Coordinator of the Experiential Education and Field Studies Program at McCormick Seminary. In addition to a Master of Divinity degree, she holds degrees as a Master in Urban Planning and Policy from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Aurora University.
