McCormick Theological Seminary, a seminary of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) with Reformed, ecumenical, cross-cultural, and urban commitments, invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level beginning in the Fall of 2014.
We seek candidates with research doctorates in Old Testament/Hebrew Bible who are particularly interested in African-American, Latino/a, and/or Asian-American hermeneutics. Candidates should demonstrate excellence or the promise of excellence in scholarship and teaching. Candidates should have commitment to preparing people for leadership in ministry. Candidates should be open to interdisciplinary teaching and have experience with technology.
