McCormick Theological Seminary, a seminary of the Presbyterian Church (USA) with Reformed, ecumenical, cross-cultural, and urban commitments, invites applications for a faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level beginning the Fall of 2014.
We seek candidates with earned doctorates in homiletics or a related field who are also prepared to teach in another area of ministry, such as worship, communications, Christian formation, pastoral care, or other. Candidates should demonstrate excellence or the promise of excellence in scholarship and teaching, familiarity with preaching approaches from a variety of cultural contexts (and the scholarship that supports it), and the ability to teach students from multiple social locations. A candidate should possess ministerial sensibility and experience with technology.
