Doctor of Ministry course work is intensive, generally beginning early Monday afternoon and continuing through Friday noon and may include an evening session. D.Min. students have access to the on-campus JKM Library and cafeteria facilities at the adjacent Lutheran School of Theology.
McCormick is located in the Hyde Park neighborhood, 6 ½ miles south of downtown Chicago. Hyde Park is also the home to the University of Chicago and its Divinity School, Chicago Theological Seminary, The Catholic Theological Union, The Lutheran School of Theology in Chicago, and Meadville-Lombard Theological Seminary.
Doctor of Ministry students may stay at the reasonably priced McCormick Guest Housing, which is a convenient 10-minute walk from the seminary. The facilities include mostly private rooms with shared baths and WiFi access. Guests may take advantage of communal sitting areas, kitchens, computer terminals and laundry facilities.
