USE OF JKM LIBRARY

Are you going through theological library withdrawals? For area alums, you should keep taking advantage of your lifetime privileges for use of the JKM Library.

ACCESS TO DATABASES FOR ALUMNI

The JKM Library offers access to the following resources for all McCormick Alumni:

  • Atla Religion Database and AtlaSerials® is the premier citation database of articles, reviews, and essays in all fields of religion and theology, with limited full-text availability.

  • Anchor Yale Bible Dictionary & Commentaries are a perfect resource for crafting a sermon, Bible study, or paper on all things Biblical. 

  • T&T Clark Jesus Library offers text, images, audio, and video materials centered on the life, history, context, and understanding of Jesus.

COURSE DISCOUNTS

  • 25% discount DMin courses for alum (except the ACTS DMin in Preaching, Ecumenical DMin programs)

McCormick Theological Seminary Alumni Awards

Distinguished Alumnus/a

This award is presented to an alumnus/a in recognition of his or her distinguished contribution to the ministry of the church. The award is open to all, without regard to age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, ethnicity, denomination, form of ministry, length of service or public fame. Rather, the emphasis will be on quality and significance of exceptional contribution to the ministry of Jesus Christ. Congrats to our 2024 winner.

Rising Star

This award is presented to an alumnus/a in recognition of faithful contribution to ministry in Church and Society. This award is open to alum who have graduated within the past ten years, without regard to age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, ethnicity, denomination, form of ministry or public fame. The award can include specialized ministries of chaplaincy, pastoral ministry, social service, community organizing, social justice, advocacy, and education. Congrats to our 2024 winner.
