Cameron Ferguson
I am a teacher, creative thinker, storyteller, translator, and analyst. I work to understand the human imagination and the power of narrative, and I have spent the last 15 years of my life cultivating the skill sets necessary to aid in recognizing, investigating, and articulating how stories are told and retold throughout time, how they speak to one another and to billions of different people across continents, and how they meaningfully impact human lives in spectacularly different ways.
I have a PhD in New Testament and Early Christian Literature from the University of Chicago Divinity School. I am a capable researcher, proficient in multiple qualitative and quantitative methods, an efficient time and project manager, a devoted learner, a good colleague, and a strong leader. I have an article under contract with Oxford University Press, and I have taught a variety of courses at different institutions designed for all different academic levels. In addition, I have substantial administrative experience, having run a scholarly workshop, a pedagogical development program, and a student's association, which functioned as an event-planning body and advocacy group for some 300 graduate students.
