Lisa was born in Illinois, raised in Puerto Rico, and worked with congregations in New Jersey and Northern Ireland before beginning her service as the solo pastor of Christ Presbyterian Church in Hanover Park (2012). Lisa now pastors at First Presbyterian Church of Winnebago. She holds a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez as well as a Masters in Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary. A student and practitioner of church revitalization, Lisa wholeheartedly believes that God gives the church everything it needs for its mission in the world. She finds her deepest joy in helping congregations discern their calling and re-connect with their larger communities for faithful ministry in love of God and neighbor.
