Kenneth J. Hockenberry
Ordained as a PCUSA minister in 1984, I have served congregations in Syracuse NY, Louisville KY, and Chicago, ILI have also been privileged to serve in Mid-Council work as Stated Clerk in Mid-Kentucky Presbytery (1996 to 2014)and Chicago Presbytery (2018 to present). My wife Judy is also a pastor, now serving as an Associate at First Church,Arlington Heights, IL. For many years serving in Louisville, I also served as an adjunct with Louisville Seminary in the areas of worship, preaching, and field education/ practical theology - and as part time Interim Director of Field Ed at for 3 semesters. Judy and I have three adult children (Katie, Jenny, and Andrew). Katie and Jenny are Louisville Seminary grads, and serve as a therapist and a PCUSA minister/chaplain. Our son Andrew works as an organicfarmer, sustainability teacher. I am looking forward to working with students studying at McCormick Seminary, helpingthem to learn and use our PCUSA polity.
