The Holy Spirit

I use words to convey how I view the Holy Spirit. When I think of the Holy Spirit I think of:

Steam - Seeps underneath doors above doors, over and under walls and cracks. Steam also has the capacity to detox the body of toxins. I likened steam also to the Holy Spirit having the ability to purge what is not clean in me and purify me into a new creature that is regenerated.

Water - Liquid, fluid, able to be unstoppable when moving with force and power. Simultaneously the water offers me a peaceful feeling and a closeness to the God who created the water.

Air - Necessary for life, necessary for breath and so necessary for life just as the Holy Spirit is necessary to supplement my faith in God while here on earth.

Wind - exhibits the power of God. As I see the clouds moving across the sky driven by the wind, I know that a higher power exists. The wind has been shown to be a positive force as when Moses parted the Red Sea and a negative force with destructive winds that remind us of God’s power.

Fire - Purifies the atmosphere to prepare for the Holy Spirit and Sanctifies the area and the atmosphere.

Sun Rays - I may not be able to see the rays of the sun but I can feel the rays of the sun and sun give life and energy to my soul. The Holy Spirit is the Light from the rays of the sun.

I believe that the Holy Spirit is active today, not just in the churches but throughout the world.
