POSITION :Interim Co-Lead Pastor, Montview Blvd Presbyterian Church, Denver

Essential duties and responsibilities:

1. To work collaboratively and effectively with the other Co-Pastor and staff members.

2. To provide transitional spiritual leadership for the congregation.
3. To provide for the overall well-being and effective functioning of the staff.
4. To plan and lead worship, including administration of the sacraments of Holy Baptism and Holy Communion.

5. To share equally in strong preaching, with occasional preaching by the Associate Pastors and guest preachers.
6. To perform weddings, funerals and memorial services as requested.
7. To visit with members of the congregation who are ill, grieving, hospitalized, or in need of pastoral counseling.

8. To function as staff liaison to standing committees of Session and other committees as assigned.
9. To be involved in the community and in the Denver Presbytery and the larger Presbyterian Church (USA), as needed.

10. To meet with the Coordinating Elder to prepare the docket for session meetings.
