POSITION: Solo Pastor

Essential duties and responsibilities:

We are a financially stable and progressive church in a small rural community situated in view of the Ohio River, about one hour from Louisville.  Come join us as we act to secure justice, love others unconditionally, and walk humbly and faithfully with our Creator. 

Tasks, expectations, duties, supervision, assignments, and responsibilities for the position:
Work in the Hanover/Madison community and be prepared to reach out to Hanover College and the larger community to clarify and strengthen the missions and visibility of our church  

  • The solo pastor is the only program staff and would coordinate and lead program initiatives in partnership with officers and other members of the church 

  • Preach and lead worship 

  • Provide pastoral care to homebound and hospitalized members
