Our church is vibrant and healthy with a congregation that is active and engaged. We have a newly renovated building, a sound financial situation, a large choir and a popular Sunday School. We seek a dynamic preacher whose sermons will be biblically based, intellectually stimulating and relatable to our everyday Iives and current events. We seek a pastor who will continue to look for ways for our church to lead in serving our local and greater community including tackling environmental and social justice issues. We seek a pastor who will prioritize pastoral care. We seek a pastor who will help us grow our community of faith by genuinely welcoming all and encouraging participation in our Church and community outreach. We seek a pastor who relates well to children and will make their involvement in our faith and work a priority. We have been offering virtual broadcast of our live services via our local TV station for several years. Since March 2020, all church services are virtual only. We seek a pastor who will be comfortable working with our AV team in this format. The Boothbay Region is a vibrant, stunningly beautiful coastal community that supports fishing, boat-building and tourism. It has maintained a delightful small-town charm and family-friendly feel and is attractive to retirees. It is an involved and interactive community focused on making the most of what Maine life has to offer.
