Adjunct Professor Doug Tracy Receives Life Achievement Award

The Association of Presbyterian Church Educators has given Dr. Douglas J. Tracy the 2012 Life Achievement Award.

Dr. Tracy, a Teaching Elder and Certified Christian Educator in the Presbyterian Church, teaches Polity & Worship in the PC (USA) at McCormick. 

He has taught as adjunct faculty at Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary and Princeton Theological Seminary. Further for eight years Dr. Tracy was on the faculty of Ecumenical Theological Seminary in Detroit, from which he retired as Associate Professor of Christian Education in 2010. 

Dr. Tracy has a Doctor of Education in Religion and Education from Teacher’s College in Columbia University in New York. He earned a Masters of Education in Educational Research from Cleveland State University. Further, Dr. Tracy earned both a M. Div. and a D. Min. from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. His BA is from Carroll University in Wisconsin.
