Court Theatre’s Community Conversations: a laying on of hands - an opening ritual
Held on Thursday, March 14, 2019, at 5:45 p.m.
Court Theatre in conjunction with McCormick Theological Seminary and the Lutheran School of Theologybroke ground before the first preview with “a laying on of hands”: an invocation of healing energy to lead the audience into the viewing experience. Borrowing from the transcendent moment of unification where the women find redemption in each other, the opening ritual will be a chance for viewers to enter the space with a mindset of unity and security.
