Rev. Cláudio Carvalhaes offers hope to weary people of faith. He'll be sharing his vision of how Christians can address the world's needs October 22 and 23 during McCormick Days at McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago.

McCormick's annual event welcomes back alumni/ae and provides educational and social opportunities for alums and current students to connect and recharge. This year's theme is "The Prophetic: That which Keeps Us Alive."

Rev. Dr. Carvalhaes will be giving the keynote address on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. Other speakers include distinguished alumni/ae Trey Hammond and Pauline Coffman. Other events include an interfaith panel on the meaning of prophecy in various faith traditions, workshops, a screening of "Trigger", and an African drumming and dance performance by the Kolaam Ensemble.

We share his interview with Lia Smith of Different Drummers.
