Connie Lindsey to receive Chicago Urban League’s Humanitarian Award

McCormick Board Chair Connie Lindsey has been named this year’s recipient of the Chicago Urban League's Humanitarian Award for her longstanding support of issues that align with the Urban League's mission. She will receive the award at the Urban League's 60th Annual Golden Fellowship Dinner which will be held November 6.

As Executive Vice President and Head of Corporate Social Responsibility at Northern Trust in Chicago, Lindsey is responsible for the design and implementation of the organization's global Corporate Social Responsibility, Community Development and Investments, Global Diversity, Equity and Inclusion strategies, and the development of goals, policies, and programs appropriate to the brand and business unit strategies.

Ms. Lindsey also provides oversight and leadership to the firm’s response to environmental matters as well as social issues within the marketplace, workplace, and the community.

In addition to serving as McCormick’s Chair of the Board of Trustees, Ms. Lindsey serves on several civic and charitable boards, including Leadership Greater Chicago (Board President, 2001 Fellow); Obama Foundation Inclusion Council (Co-Chair); Navy Pier (Executive Board Member); Chicago Urban League; Executives’ Club of Chicago; and YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago.
