Welcome Peers!

A twenty year experiment is coming to a close this week as the Community of Peers gathers at McCormick for one last meeting. Part thinktank, part advocacy alliance, part writers group, the Community of Peers has met at McCormick regularly for conversation, collaboration, consultation, agitation, and to keep up with McCormick students along the way.

How best to nurture such a lively conversation? Gather lively conversationalists: pastors, program officers and directors, activists and fellow travelers who embody a vibrant progressive and public theology engaged in contemporary discussion and debate.

Though the formal meetings of the Community of Peers will draw to a close this week, and though some of the members are part of the “Peers Triumphant,”  the work continues in graced efforts to seek the values of the realm of God through joyful, faithful, and effective engagement. McCormick welcomes the Community of Peers for one last celebration.

Welcome Peers!
