McCormick Theological Seminary Hires Vice President of Seminary Relations and Development
01-12-2012
Lisa Radetski to be the new Vice President of Seminary Relations and Development at McCormick Theological Seminary.
Last summer, the seminary secured the talent management services of Campbell and Company, a well-recognized development consulting organization, to execute a national search. However, often good talent is closer than one thinks. Radetski is a Chicago resident and come from Fourth Presbyterian Church in Chicago, where she served as Director of Giving Ministries. Fourth Church and McCormick have had a long and well-developed relationship with each other. However, Frank Yamada, the president of McCormick, noted that McCormick did not plumb its networks to find Radetski, but “Campbell and Company brought her to us based on the leadership qualities, skill set, and experience for which we asked.”
Radetski brings several years of hands-on fundraising skill to McCormick. While at Fourth, she was one of the primary leaders on their development team, where she played a critical role in helping the church execute annual fund and planned giving, while developing strategies for cultivating donors and major gifts. A graduate of Roosevelt University, Radetski served as Director of Marketing and Development with the Chicago Chamber Musicians before coming to Fourth Church.
