Passing the Torch

We’re excited to share that Dr. Jina Kang, Assistant Professor of Hebrew Bible/Old Testament, has agreed to take on the new challenges and responsibilities of Interim Vice President of Academic Affairs and Interim Dean of the Faculty. Dr. Kang's experience and inspiring leadership promise to guide us with excellence through this transitional period. We eagerly anticipate her contributions as we approach graduation day and celebrate our current class of students.

In addition, we also express our deepest gratitude and heartfelt congratulations to Interim Dean Dr. Annette Huizenga on her upcoming retirement. Over the past eighteen months, her engaged leadership has truly transformed our academic community. With her empowering motto, "Change or Die," she has sparked positive growth throughout our institution. Dr. Huizenga’s thoughtful insights and grace have made a lasting impact on all of us. While we will certainly miss her daily presence, we celebrate the amazing legacy she leaves behind!
