What is Sacred Memory?
Sacred Memory refers to the philosophies, theologies, social ethos, practices, and behaviors based upon ancient wisdom that inform social order, socialization, and social values.

The Importance of Sacred Memory:

  • Sacred Memory is the focal point of repair for the Christian church in general and at the core of healing for Black people of Christian faith.

  • Sacred Memory is a change model for restoration for any indigenous people whose memory and narratives have been omitted or distorted to diminish their collective value.

  • Sacred Memory work allows us to remember and restore, so that we may all live victoriously in our present reality.
