The Aim of the Sacred Memory Elders Listening Sessions is to Listen. 

Participants gathered virtually will be welcomed to listen deeply and intently to our elders as they share wisdom about Sacred Memory work. Specifically, what is in our African worldview, African spiritualities that generated the ingenuity and innovation in our lived experiences as a people.  Ingenuity speaks to the creativity by which we transmitted our values and culture.  Innovation speaks to how we posited: “A Way Out of No Way” or “Something from Nothing” to build and sustain ourselves.
